100 reviews for Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Machine by Breville

So I have owned a lot of machines from a Nuova Simonelli Aurelia (world barista championship machine) which required a 20amp circuit installed at my house to a lot of the lower end machines like the Brevilles and Delonghi (not a fan of Delonghi). You never buy a pod machine to save money – you buy it to save time. I think they figured if you bought Nespresso brand coffee pods you’re essentially paying around $50 or so dollars a pound which is crazy expensive. Yet when you compare the convenience of a good latte that costs you near a dollar with a $5-7 with tip coffee at starbucks, you’re doing ok.So what do I think of this machine? I actually really like it. I can make a latte in the time it takes my other machine to warm up. This machine takes 3 seconds to go and my other machine – I need to grind, tamp and then it still takes my other machine roughly 30 seconds to heat up. It could probably make a few cups before my professional machine even warms up. I love doing things myself and enjoy the art of the grind, the tamp, adjusting for weather and knowing my skills but honestly sometimes I just want a quick, consistently good latte or flat white. The machine definitely delivers there. I love how hot it makes the shot, I love how adjustable everything is, and I love that I can make a coffee two minutes before a meeting. (I can’t even get my other machines warmed up) I bought one for my work and brought it home and my wife loved it so much she asked me to leave it. I ordered another for my Dad because he loved mine so much I had to get him one. The settings that work for me are flat white – milk level 2, latte milk level 5, and cappuccino milk level 8. They closer to the real deal with those settings. Please don’t judge my poor latte art – I was just trying a few with the machine and thought I would post them to show how close to the real thing you can come with this machine on the first go… I’m sure if I gave it a few tries – I could probably get them a bit more symmetrical. The point is – you can still have fun with it.So maybe you’re wondering – does it match a full professional machine? First off – of course not – I can do a better shot, have more options, and can do a lot more with latte art and milk texture on a real machine. I can get a lot better and more authentic crema on a professional machine. On a professional machine I can choose exotic beans and experience crazy weird taste and half the fun of coffee is making it. (nespresso has quite a variety though which is worth trying – including some good third parties like Pete’s, ect) That being said – It’s not supposed to compete with a professional machine. It’s a home machine under $500. We’re talking a HUGE price difference to a professional machine which can range in the 10-15k range for a good one like the Aurelia. (And you still need to buy your Mazzer grinder for 1-2k!) it’s a lot of work and expensive to own a professional machine. I also find I can waste more on a coffee machine – you need to drink enough to get through a bag of beans before they get past the first month of roast. So if you want a good machine, that makes decent espresso, and can do it consistently well, and extremely fast. I think this is an excellent addition to any home.

Really great coffee, easy to use.Compared my other Nespresso machines(this is my 4th) this has been the most consistent so far in producing good espresso. But the timer for descaling is not correct. I have to clean it way before the timer goes off to keep the coffee tasting great.

  3. BrianBrian

Excellent machine. This is my third Nespresso machine. Wether you get Vertuo or Classic is up to you. My personal preference, after having them both is the Classic coffee. The vertuo is good, but I’m my opinion, it’s for those that want huge amounts of coffee at one time. If you want smaller creamier cups, the classic is for you. The brewing is different in each system, and I prefer the classic brewing. To me, the coffee tastes richer with the classic system. This machine in particular has many options. Much nicer then my last classic machine, although I still use that machine at work, so nothing wrong with the simpler machines. If you want the digital display and all the bells and whistles… and have the extra cash.., you won’t regret this machine.

  4. KenG

I seldom write product reviews, but I would be remiss in not pointing out how much I love this espresso machine! It works flawlessly and is such a pleasure to use!

  5. NB

This machine starts leaking and I had to spend hours with Nespresso club trying to fix it myself. Sent in for repair once and now the same thing happened. Nespresso is making me send it in again for a repair a month after the first time. Should be replaced by now. Disappointed because it’s an expensive machine.

  6. Color doc

Many different functions I love This Machine. I use distilled water and so far have not had to clean it descale

  7. Straight-Talk

I honestly waited to make sure that my “gushing”review was warranted and it is! This machine works flawlessly and the milk frother is really impressive. We are using it quite a bit during the day and impressed with how easy it is to clean and keep going, Oat and soy milk are also working really well. Preferring organic coffee we use many off brand capsules and this machine handles it. We spent the extra for the stainless steel and really grateful. Was blown away that it honestly does heat up in 3 seconds. Love it.

If you have found this product and are reading reviews, look no further and just get it! I have used Keurig, Nespresso, and traditional blending/drip coffee makers and this Breville Nespresso machine is my favorite. It’s slim so it doesn’t take up a lot of surface area on the counter and the stainless color is so darn pretty. As a former Starbucks addict, I haven’t gone back to buy my latte since I got this machine. I buy oatmilk by the box at Costco and make my morning lattes myself and enjoy every convenient minute. The sample Nespresso pods that come in the box were quite good and I enjoyed trying all the different flavors. I feel like a barista making my own lattes now. Extra points for it fitting my 20oz tumbler if I remove the drip tray plus it has a little pull out cup stand so it doesn’t splash when using your short espresso cups! Just perfect.

When I set out to purchase a new coffee machine I considered buying a full blown espresso machine because I had been purchasing expensive lattes every day and wanted the rich and creamy flavor I received from my favorite coffee place. That said, those machines looked so intimidating and fussy I feared I wouldn’t be able to master being a home barista and wasn’t sure if I was committed to learning the craft. I didn’t want a new hobby, I just wanted a delicious cup of coffee. This machine was everything I had hoped for. Easy, fast and a delicious cup of coffee every. single. time! I have not been back to a coffee shop since and have saved so much time and money. My husband is probably sick of hearing me say how much I LOVE THIS THING!!!!! It’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever given myself.

  11. Mark W.

I’ve owned this machine for over 5 years now and it has functioned perfectly since day one. Still produces great coffee easily and quickly and still easy to maintain.

  12. Fiona Maitland

We have had this for approximately six years and it is still going strong. It makes great tasting coffee, it’s easy to use, It’s easy to clean and disscale. We have subsequently bought one for mom as it is so good.

For ten years I’d been making my lattes in a Lattissima Pro, thinking I was at the pinnacle of Nespresso technology. Turns out, I was wrong. The Creatista Plus also takes Nespresso pods, and also operates at 19 bars or pressure, and that’s where the similarities end. It’s just better in every other way. It’s quieter. It’s faster, heating up in seconds rather than minutes. It’s better-looking. It makes better foam. There’s many more options for drinks. The milk is hotter and foams better. It’s easier to clean. It holds more water. Touches large and small make the new machine an actual pleasure to use. You’re ale to customize how much coffee is brewed, the temperature of the milk, and how much foam is in the milk. When you set these, they’ll save for the next use. You can’t save different combinations of the same drink like you can with the Pro, but saving the last settings is enough for me. With those settings in place, making my latte takes two button presses and about three minutes. It even automatically purges the steam wand, and all the cleaning I have to do is wipe down the outside of the wand.Compared to the Pro, you don’t get a full touchscreen, the ability to save custom drinks, or to make hot water for tea. The big advantage of the Pro is lost in the US, where our 120V electricity means the espresso brewing and milk frothing happen one after the other instead of at the same time. Are the other three differences worth the $200 price increase? They weren’t to me. Even the Plus isn’t cheap,If you’ve made your peace with the price of the Plus and you’re waffling, this is your sign to buy it. The difference it will make to your morning coffee routine, and the enjoyment you get from your coffee, is hard to overstate. *This* has to be the pinnacle of Nespresso technology.

Being a former barista I can guarantee you that you would love the espresso drinks this machine makes. The flavor is very good and there is a wide variety for any coffee drinker out there. You can also just use the steaming function if you are not a coffee drinker to prepare your other beverages. Also, Nespresso recycles their capsules completely and it is easy to send the capsules back to them (free shipping) for processing. Not only are you getting a great cup of coffee but helping the environment!

  15. Brad Kyker

First and foremost, the coffee is excellent. Try a variety of pods from Nespresso and others (Pete’s, Illy, Lavazza) to find what works best for you. The milk frother takes some trial and error. However, once you find the right setting for your drink (Latte for me), it’s great. The machine is easy to use and clean. So far, I am very happy with it.

  16. Arnaud C

The machine is very good. Easy, slick design, and fast. Put a coffee pod in, select from a variety of coffe choices (espresso, cappuccino, lingo, flat white….) et voilà! Coffee is ready in 10secs. Also has a great milk frosted as part of the machine, so no extra pieces to wash after you’re done. Easy to fill the water tank, easy to clean, easy to enjoy :)I put 4 stars and not 5 only because the date for the coffee pods that came with the coffee machine was expired.Great little stainless steel espresso machine, you won’t be disappointed

I love coffee. I’ve owned A pod system machine for the last 10 years using it daily. I was on my 3rd (Starts with a K) and after 3 years it just wasn’t working properly anymore. Did a bunch of research and landed on this machine or another (K) machine. After taking a cruise earlier this year I got spoiled on fancy coffee and found myself buying it in place of a regular cup of Joe in my (K) at home. So I thought why not try this and see if I can save myself some money buy not going to Starbucks and caribou every day. Out of this world compared to my dull old coffee and creamer routine. Easy to use. So easy all 4 of my kids learned to make me lattes and cappuccinos. Best part is it will froth any type of milk. I’ve used coconut, almond and oat milk and they all come out super frothy and delicious. I even learned how to make perfect summer iced lattes. I am only at the end of week one with it but so far it’s exceeded my expectations. I will update if anything changes.

  18. C. Stilwell

This machine is pricey but worth the money. The coffee is delicious, the machine is well made and it is extremely easy to use and clean. Love it. It’s like taking a mini-vacation in the afternoon.

  19. Big Al

Love this machine! Works perfectly and the steam arm makes cappuccino froth like a barista. You can adjust the temperature and the volume. Also no mess of grinding coffee beans! Only weird thing is the descale cycle gets stuck in a loop if you don’t follow exact directions. I had too much water in the tank and it kept taking me back to tge start of tge cleaning cycle. I added exact volume to line and it cleared once completed.

I’ve owned a Nespresso machine for years and recently decided to upgrade to the Creatista. My old machine, the Citiz, was fine, but I wanted more functionality. I originally tried the Lattissima Pro but promptly returned it – the frothed milk was not up to par for cappuccinos and settings were confusing to adjust. The Creatista has been a great purchase, makes incredible coffee/milk drinks, and is simple to use.The Good:1) Large water reservoir and good overall design. Actually smaller than my Citiz as far as counter space goes and looks great in the kitchen2) Everything is adjustable – the temperature, coffee volume, froth level can all be adjusted on the interface using dials. I can get my coffee steaming hot like at a coffee shop or dial the temp back. It’s intuitive to use and makes a big difference in the taste. The machine tells you the ideal volume and temp for each drink (latte, cappuccino, espresso, etc.), but you can adjust to your hearts content. I like my cappuccino with more espresso volume so I dial it way up and stick a large (Lungo) pod in, and it’s perfect.3) Great frothed milk. This was a must for me. Nothing worse than flat froth on a cappuccino. I like the steam wand method of this machine and it’s much easier to clean The stainless steel milk jug goes right into the dishwasher and the steam wand is self cleaning. It works fine automatically, but I slightly lift and tip the jug during steaming, and I find it makes a sturdier froth. You’ll have to play with it to find your perfect setting. Tip – increase the heat on the milk setting and it creates more micro bubbles. The Not so Good:1) The drip tray could be bigger. Especially considering the self cleaning wand steams water out after each use, and it empties into the drip tray. Not a big deal, but it needs to get emptied.2) The adjustments don’t give you specific temperatures or volumes. Not on the interface nor in the manual will you find what the settings correspond to. I’d like to know exactly how hot I’m dialing up the temperature, or how many more ounces of espresso I’m getting if I crank the setting up or down, but it’s not possible. You just have to eyeball to see what works for you. I suppose I could use a thermometer or get a measuring cup, but seems they should provide this info considering how the ability to adjust is such a big part of this machine’s personality.3. You can’t steam the milk at the same time you’re making coffee. Why? It would save some time and be nice to walk away from the machine and have milk and coffee going at the same time. Once the coffee part is done, you’ll have to go back to the functions to allow for the milk process to begin.Overall:Great looking machine, easy to use, and versatile. The ability to tailor milk based coffee drinks to our specific tastes is a huge plus. Milk froths better on this machine given the wand design. It’s a keeper.

I have been using this daily for 3 years now. My first one had an issue, and it was still under warranty. I called and they sent me a box and label to ship back and sent me a brand new one quickly. This one has worked great for 2 years of daily use with no problems. Love the Cappaccino and milk frother.

This was a bridal registry gift to my son and future bride. I liked it very much on line and he tells me it works perfectly well and thanks me many times for the wonderful gift. Thank you Amazon.

  23. Biowheez

Guests are impressed. My only complaint is the frothing pitcher that came with, the min/max lines aren’t pressed into the metal enough it’s hard to read from the inside.

  24. Rosie

It doesn’t heat . It doesn’t make any foam

  25. Britani

We had been eyeing the machine for a good year now. It randomly went on sale & we jumped on purchasing it. We LOVE it!!! Steams/froths milk perfectly!! Pods are easy to use & recyclable!!! LOVE it so much!!!

  26. Jim

I was not a coffee my entire life…until I had a latte and discovered the deliciousness that is espresso mixed with frothed (oat) milk. After a few weeks of buying them near work, I quickly surmised that not learning to make lattes and doing it at home would become a very expensive habit, very fast.So I set out to figure out how to make a latte. The problem? Espresso machines require quite a bit of effort to learn, and even more effort to maintain. I also didn’t like the idea of dealing with all the grinds. Remember, I don’t drink any other coffee so it’s not like I have all the gear to begin with.Enter the Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus. I spent hours doing deep dives on reviews and comparing features, and kept coming back to this unit. It seemed expensive at $450-500. But then I did the math (living in a HCOL city) and at $5-7 per latte, I would easily cover the cost of the machine itself in 75-90 lattes. And with pods costing <$1 per, the ongoing cost was still significantly less than the alternative. Is it more expensive than making fresh beans rather than using the pods? Sure. But the convenience makes the delta a no-brainer for me and I’m sure for many of you.Note: Depending on the hardness of your water this will need to be descaled every once in a while. At 2 lattes/per day, it took me a couple minutes to hit my first descaling service. It’s a pretty straightforward process but you’ll want to buy the Nespresso Descaling Kit (comes w/ 2 uses). I would recommend buying it directly from Nespresso, as well as the pods, because you’ll actually save money compared to buying it through Amazon. And the best part about this unit, it’s so digital that it will tell you when these things need to be done rather than you needing to keep reminders in the calendar.

  27. Dan

Love this machine. I had a Latissima Pro but would invariably throw milk away because you were required to store extra milk in the fridge. This lets you just steam the milk directly.I’m docking one star because of the Flat White recipe. It seems to be off. While all the other recipes prompt you to either get the milk ready or the coffee ready, the Flat White recipe immediately starts trying to brew the coffee. Then it prompts for the milk, and then goes back to wanting to brew the coffee. So this is definitely a defect that went out with their machines.

  28. Mr. Mysterioso

The Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus is the simplest method I’ve found to make milk-based coffee drinks quickly, easily, and reliably at home. For approximately $454 on the Black Friday sale you can get a machine that pays for itself in about 100 lattes. Mine paid for itself, including the cost of coffee and milk, in about 5 months. I purchased a less expensive Nespresso machine with separate milk frother for my office and I’m far less satisfied.

  29. RB

This machine didn’t fit in the space I needed it to or else it would have been a keeper for me. I thought it was well made, at least for a machine that takes nespresso pods. If you’re going for a pod-less machine, then there are probably better options.

  30. Marcus

At least 4.5 Stars!I have been sceptic and thought this is more for the eye than for the taste but have to admit that this is a pretty great looking, small footprint, and versatile coffee machine making good espresso, ristretto, latte, and cappuccino.I am impressed by the design and its functionality as you are able to choose amounts of coffee, ater, and milk and also the coffee and milk temperature; after running through the automated cappuccino (latte) making process resulting pretty much in the desired amount and temperature of the milk and end product, you just return the foaming and to its prior position and it starts its automated rinsing – pretty nifty and well working! To be exact, I read a lot about missing hotness of the coffee or the milk and weak espresso but think that lot of these negative comments are related to incorrect handling. I have been using many espresso machines – incouding “higher-end” full-automatic Saeco Incanto Deluxe and Breville Barista 870 XEL and believe that the Nespresso Creatista Plus makes pretty good espresso (could be a little stronger indeed, bjut I switch then to ristretto and am very happy).Criticism on the crema is totally unwarranted, I believe, as it is very good, normal amount of crema at my machine and expectations of a thick layer of crema are unreasonable, and you need to make froth if you want that!I think that the Nespresso concept makes very good espresso but at quite high costs, financially and for the environment. That is why I try to experiment with the refillable metal pods (even though that takes the convenience to some good part away); my wallet and the environment say “Thank you” as it reduces costs of a good espresso to about 50% – paid for with some more “labor” – and produces much less waste; in addition, I have the option of buying my favorite Italian coffee beans and produce the grind I like! Ok, you need a good grinder to do so and I fortunately have that in my other machines (after I sold my perfect but large Kitchen Aid Burr grinder!).I bought a used (warehouse deal) at $307, totally fine!

This machine looks intimidating and it’s very simple to use. Maybe it’s the milk frother attachment, maybe it’s the stainless steel, maybe it’s the size, but it feels less like an automatic coffee maker and more like an espresso machine. It’s very much an automatic coffee maker and it produces results that are very much like an espresso machine. As long time users of Nespresso, this machine opened our eyes to how much more vivid, colorful world of coffee then the more entry-level model machine we had used for years. We’ve been using it daily for a few months and love it. It’s a significant upgrade from their lower cost models, with richer features and greater refinement of the coffee you want. Best thing: once you dial it in, it’s mindless to make coffee. One particular benefit is the adjustability of the temperature and the froth of milk. It makes lattes and flat whites at home a whole different experience. Highly, highly recommend this product.

  32. Hugh

As a New Zealander living in the USA this machine has been a godsend. A good flat white is hard to find. This machine produces a fantastic flat white, latte and cappuccino. The best part of this machine is the automated milk frother. It produces consistent results every time. Maintenence is easy, with the steam wand primed after every use. Even though Nespresso capsules are around 70 cents each, this machine is quickly paying off due to killing the need for a $5 daily coffee shop visit. I don’t have any really bad things to say about this machine. It’s one of few devices I use in my life daily. Every use is a joy. Thank you Breville for saving a flat white deprived Kiwi in the states!

Edit -12/5/24THE BEST decision to buy this machine. After 6 years of usage and literally abusing with at least 6 to 7 coffees for the last 3 years during pandemic. This has stood the test of time and how. If you’re on the fence , just buy it and thank me later. I keep trying different nespresso pods and brands available on Amazon to keep it interesting. Simple maintenance, it’s a workhorse. The only thing I find tricky is cleaning the water storage tank. Specially inside the Ricky automatic valve.——————————Best decision to buy this machine! i was contemplating getting the full barista machine, but thanks to my wife for suggesting I buy this. Love the coffee and the flavors, works very well. The machine itself looks grogeous, very stylish and sleek profile. The options and usage is very simple which actually makes me want to use this machine and it‘s not a novetly that just sits on the counter after few uses.

  34. YAIMETYAIMET

Compré la cafetera por una amiga que la compró directamente a la tienda y le encanta. La mía llegó en su empaque original PERO usada, con restos de leche, sin bombear el agua, un horror.

  35. JoeJoe

We bought this machine as a gift to our daughter last year and she loves it. I took a chance and ordered this not knowing what to expect and this machine came like new. A single dent on one side and very minor scratches on the other side. Nothing that will even be seen if not fully inspected. I cleaned the machine with the packet provided and then ran it through the normal machine cleaning process. I then had my fist cup of coffee and it was excellent. I highly recommend this purchase “used, reconditioned, like new”. Save money same great bre I’ll product.

  36. JAF

With shame, I have to admit we abused our first Creatista. We used it for two years without bothering to descale it, grumped when we failed to clean the steam wand and the milk froth got colder and colder. So when, bad, bad owners that we are, we decided to run vinegar through it instead of the Nespresso descaling solution, our beloved coffeemaker choked and died. From its final gasp to our order for a new one elapsed less than 15 seconds. We’ve been married for 45 years, and average a new coffee maker every two years. Sometimes less. Of them all, the Creatista has delivered the best coffee ever. The flat whites far surpass those of Starbuck’s. Sometimes I put a tad bit of Ghirardelli black syrup in the bottom of the cup, and I am in mocha heaven.

  37. Dylan Miller

Not quite a year old but my wife uses it daily and it makes better drinks than a barista at starbucks. For once i bought a product off amazon that was actually worth it. She loves it, so i love it.

  38. Sasha Lund

This little machine is my hero every morning! I absolutely love the sleek look – just like a machine in a coffee shop! I just drop a pod into the slot, and pour some milk into the jug, and I have an amazing latte in under one minute. I’ve taste-tested these lattes against the ones at my favorite coffee shop, and they’re every bit as good. I also am able to use non-dairy milks (cashew, almond, oat) and they foam up beautifully! After extensive use, here are the things I’d want to know if I were considering a purchase:-Pre-programmed drink options: This machine has many drinks such as flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, ristretto, and espresso pre-programmed with set milk temps, foam levels, and espresso level. The programmed settings are very useful when you want to be able to push two buttons and go. Using these settings, I can have an espresso drink in one minute – from when I turn the machine on to when I’m screwing the lid onto my travel mug. However, the settings can be modified easily. You can select a flat white, but if you like a foamier flat white, you simply turn the dial up from the pre-selected “4” on the foam level to whatever level of foam you prefer. This is handy for experimentation, and I’ve discovered my ideal drink based on these settings.-There doesn’t seem to be a way to set your drink to a double shot. Most coffeehouse drinks are at least two shots, and I find that I prefer two shots in my morning drink. However, each of the pre-defined drink options assume one espresso shot. Because of this, I find myself preferring to simply select “espresso” twice, to get two shots, and then simply using the steam milk function at the temperature and foam level I want, and combining for a “DIY” espresso drink. I wish I could select the number of shots I want when configuring my drink.-Likewise, the machine doesn’t tell you how much milk to use for each drink. I know from my frequent coffeehouse visits, cappuccinos and lattes have different amounts of milk added to the final drink. However, while the machine defines a foam level depending on which drink you select, it doesn’t tell you how much milk to use. I’ve garnered some knowledge on this from watching barista YouTube videos, but it would be helpful if the machine would walk though the preparation by stating “add 8 oz of milk to the jug” or something similar.-The milk steamer auto-cleans after each use. This is great because it keeps it from getting plugged up, and I’ve found that I haven’t yet needed to use the included cleaning tool.-The machine includes a small reservoir for the discarded pods. It holds about 6-8 before needing to be emptied, at which point you can dump them into a recycling bag provided by Nespresso and mail them back (at no cost) for recycling!-The drip tray has a sensor which will alert the machine to notify you when it’s full and needs to be emptied.-I LOVE that the machine is calibrated based on the PH level of my tap water. They send a water testing strip with the welcome guide and the machine is calibrated upon setup based on the results of this test.-The machine is also shipped with a sample pack of 16 pods – enough to get you through a couple weeks and decide which Nespresso options are your favorite.

Breville – nothing else needed to say. EXCELLENT

My brother bought this machine two years ago and I always beg him to make me coffee whenever I visit It makes the BEST cappuccino ever! It took me this long to spend the money to buy one and it is sooooo worth it!!Sorry Starbucks but you just lost the $1925 I spend annually.

  41. R. C. Gillespie

You can buy pods cheaply enough compared to k cups but this thing is top notch. It’s done in seconds, easy to maintain. Durable.

I love this machine!! It’s amazing! I wanted to post this review and photo to help those who are looking to find out how it works with almond milk, as I was. Please see the photo. Both of these were done on the latte setting. To me, it works better with almond milk and creating higher froth.

First the cons, the auto milk frother does not get milk hot enough. The hottest I got it was 143 degrees. Starbucks is 160 degrees. At 143 It was just barely hot, had to drink it really fast before it went cold. Tried to heat up in microwave but does not work well with milk. Other reviews also said milk did not get hot. I should have listened but maybe we just got defective units. I was able to return as defective and get a refund. The nespresso shot was satisfactory though not too hot. I ended up buying just a nespresso machine without frother and use my espresso machine to froth/steam milk. I like that nespresso pods are less work and no mess. I don’t recommend automatic frother on any machine unless it is set to reach a hot enough temperature. With auto, you cant steam longer to get as hot as you want.

This has been one of the best coffee making purchases I have ever made. Nespresso & Breville have partnered to make an espresso and coffee drink maker that is so easy to use, looks great, is high-quality, and makes absolutely great tasting beverages. The machine makes espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos perfectly every time. You simply choose the coffee pod – by intensity or decaf – and let the machine do the work. I have experimented with coffees from various producers, and have found that both Peet’s and Nespresso make the best tasting coffees. If you are a coffee aficionado and are looking for a quality way to make great espresso beverages, then I highly recommend this machine!

Long time Keurig user here, thought Keurig was the future- a single cup of coffee instead of a pot and tasted like it should. Well.. fast forward to after my purchase of the Nespresso Creatista Original, I don’t know if I was enjoying my coffee with the Keurig until now. Nespresso is far superior to Keurig, it just tastes better and is more velvety. It’s like a luxury coffee in your house at your convenience! I couldn’t be happier!

Got a great deal on this machine and I am so glad I bought it. I had previously owned a Nespresso C190 and loved the quality of the coffee but after drinking 6-8 espressos a day, I switched to a Super Automatic Jura Capresso F70 for volume drinking. Hey, I like coffee. The super automatic worked flawlessly for 7 years. Then the brewing unit started leaking and died. To repair would be about $400. So I decided to shop around. This Breville Nespresso machine is beautiful. All the parts seem to be well made and it does everything I had hoped it would. Machine heats up in 3 seconds. Pick a fully customizable coffee drink from the intuitive menu display, Latte, Cappuccino, Flat White, espresso….. You can choose the volume, you can choose the milk foam density.. You can chose the temperature. and more. You can heat the milk separately if you want to make a hot chocolate. I love this machine and would buy it again.

Tried one of these while staying with my son in Hawaii. The ease of use along with the precise and consistent delivery of a variety of brews is impressive. My favorites are lungo and cappuccino and it makes a mean coffee mocha that is absolutely addictive. It has earned a prize spot on my countertop along with its own drawer for pods.2 year update – worked fine until about a week ago.Changed from 5 star to 4.Started getting error messages related to the froth tip (which I scrupulously clean). Cannot froth milk using any normal settings. Not a problem generating steam. Warming function simply does not work. Suggestion to replace the steam tip wasted $15.Useful solution – Prewarm the milk in the microwave, and use the frother on no heat and near max froth…works just fine. Everything else about the machine works. There do not appear to be parts available to replace sensors, cables or electronic components to fix this. Will continue to use it until it dies.Won’t replace it when it does. Going back to pour over…

I have had to return 2 of these poorly performing machines within a month, thank you to Amazon for standing behind your products! They quickly replaced the first machine at no extra charge even though the price had gone up $200 in only 10 days since I bought it. They issued a return for the 2nd machine today. I hesitated to write this review but since I relied on the 80% 5-star reviews here when I chose this machine, I felt I needed to report my experience with it.The good: milk frothing is wonderful and the Creatista is beautiful. The bad: both Creatistas produced very little crema and weak, flat flavor from Nespresso capsules (tested many varieties). I have an 11 year old Citiz with Milk and a 2 yr old Breville Pixie. Both produce wonderful rich espresso. I compared the Creatista Plus espressos with those from my cheaper machines and there is a huge quality and taste difference. The replacement Creatista also came with a defective drip tray that didn’t fit the machine. I’m so disappointed because the milk frothing steam feature is great, but doesn’t make up for weak coffee from expensive capsules.

  49. Great case excellent material

    Love it

The absolutely worst buying experience I’ve ever had, the machines are absolute garbage needs to be constantly descaled, and we are not frequent users either. Lim the machine just stopped working after approximately two months contacted Breville they said to send it back. They will repair it and send it back to me, well, they did except they sent me the wrong machine, I advise them that the wrong machine was sent. And they just said send it back and will refund you well that’s been three weeks now, never received any refund and I have no coffee machine. Contacting the customer service is once again in this wonderful country of ours out of our country! They barely understand English you get no cooperation they are unprofessional and if you try to speak to a supervisor, you are disconnected , I’m a very calm and fair person, this has me rattled to the point where I want to go to the corporate headquarters !The only thing I could advise potential buyers is, run away as fast as you can do not purchase anything from this company. The CEO should be embarrassed and mortified that he actually pays salaries to these people that operate the company, and Amazon should be ashamed of their selves for actually selling their products, buy a KitchenAid buy another company but whatever you do don’t buy from them

  51. Amazon Customer

This coffee maker system is amazing—I have one at work. But I bought this system used and it came without the nozzle for the milk frother, but it was described as complete.

  52. kerry lee wolny

Love this machine. Makes wonderful cappuccino, macchiato, etc. Best milk frother of any machine I’ve ever used. Easy to buy the small Nespresso pods at Costco instead of always ordering through the mail with the larger vertuo pods. Easy to use, lots of variety of drinks can be made with this. Shiny metal & sleek design looks sexy in my kitchen too, just sayin.

  53. L. Paden

June 18 2020 purchased, and stopped working may 8 2024. I am not sure if this is good or bad. $454 to replace it. Made great coffee, even the last one before it died. RIP

  54. Fiona Maitland

We have had this for approximately six years and it is still going strong. It makes great tasting coffee, it’s easy to use, It’s easy to clean and disscale. We have subsequently bought one for mom as it is so good.

  55. Jason Dewitt

Have had this for several months now and it works great. It is pricey but for us, it was worth the money. We tend to drink lattes and cappuccino’s more often. This machine does a good job and we like being able to select different drinks with the instructions. The froth wand does a decent job once you get the hang of it. The on-screen instructions are easy and we like that it notifies you when it is time to clean and walks you through cleaning step-by-step on-screen.As for nepresso pods, the flavor is good. My only real complaint is that you have to really use two pods if you want an American sized cup of coffee. This is great for Espressos and smaller coffee pours.

  56. Marianne M. D.

It’s been 5 months and great so far! I have gotten spoiled and don’t bother with regular coffee any more. The milk frother works great – exactly what I wanted. I’ve experimented in the past with cold brew, moka pots, stove top steamers, etc. This has given me everything I desired for perfect latte. We give it a workout most days of the week with my husband having probably 4 cups and me having 2 a day. We think it’s much better than starbucks or any coffee shop for lattes, and although I’ve ordered coffees from different suppliers we seem to like the Nespresso brands best.We order their free bags for recycling the pods and mail those off (free) about every 2-3 months. It’s not hard to clean and we developed a way to hold a paper towel under the steam wand for a moment when it’s flushing with super hot water, and then using it to wipe the wand and ready it for the next use.My husband prefers lungos and I like espressos (darker the better) with half & half. Regular coffee/cream gives me migraines-(possibly caffeine too high too fast). I’ve been drinking this for 5 months – no migraines. My only regret is that I forgot to get the warranty. Haven’t needed it but you never know. I think because I like this thing so much, I REALLY don’t want to do without it if it breaks! (and I don’t want to have to buy another..)

  57. Paul Koulogeorge

This machine is truly life changing. I use to spend 10-15 minutes every morning and $5-6 to buy a gourmet coffee at a fancy store (you can guess the name)…but now I make it at home. Honestly, it tastes the same and is far more convenient and cheaper. Love this machine. Highly recommend.

  59. Aunty Anne

THIS MACHINE IS AMAZING! Best addition to my morning since the invention of the computer. Reallllllly appreciate this quality with pod technology. I also have a custom pod so I can use my own premium espresso. This is a really well made machine. I tried one of my my Sisters for a few weeks. Its SO expensive for me but I’ve spent equal amount over the years on figuring out the various coffee machines. This is the best decision ever. Its a keeper!

  60. BellaRue

So, you visited Europe and now you want to replicate that fabulous coffee in your home, or you want to cut down on your trips to the Barista. But, you’re intimidated by the price and seemingly required skill of a traditional espresso machine. And, once you came to terms with the “pod” issue, you landed with Nespresso. Now, which one? We spent weeks reviewing reviews and going back and forth between the numerous models. Our objective was two-fold; make a variety of coffees and froth the milk with one machine. While one family member wants the “fancy coffee” the other two really just care about the frothed milk. For years I’ve used a handheld milk frother which worked beautifully for two years, until the wand spun off. Definitely got my $20 worth there, but now needed a replacement. Upgrade time!!We looked at the DeLonghi model with the milk container attached. Looked like way too much work to clean each time. The Creatista has a much easier cleaning system so we landed here. Two weeks into ownership this is what I can say. And, in defense of the Creatista, we’re still learning, but as novices to the Nespresso scene, I wish we hadn’t gone with a combined model. Since milk frothing was the number one feature for 2/3 of the family, I think a separate frother which heats and froths would have sufficed. The Creatista allows numerous froth and temperature settings but has preset steam output; you can’t have unlimited steam for unlimited froth. The result (and again, maybe we aren’t doing something right) is decent froth, but considerable liquid left. Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be, but for us, we’re aiming for all froth, no liquid. So, if that’s important to you, it’s something to consider. Buying the less fancy Nespresso with separate frother would have been a more economical choice.Plusses include a WIDE variety of coffee options which is great for the novice. Also, it’s freaking attractive. It says “I look like I know how to make fancy coffee although I really don’t”. Takes up little space and is easy to clean and fill.So there you go. Good luck in your hunt. So many options!!!!

  61. ThatOneRedHead

  62. SK Kailua

We had one of these at an Airbnb we stayed and liked it so much that we bought one for ourselves when we got home. Super easy to use and the Nespresso pods have great varieties of flavors. Prior to this, I was using a super automatic Gaggia Anima Prestige from Amazon, but find that the Nespresso Creatista Plus requires way less maintenance/upkeep and the taste of the coffee is better than the illy dark roast whole bean and Lavazza super crema whole beans I was using in the Gaggia. I just wish we had a local Nespresso shop to get more pods…since I have to ship in the pods, I have to make sure my inventory is stocked at all time.

  63. AJohnson

I even bought this “used” for a discounted price but when it arrived it looked to be brand new, clean, and even included the sample pack of coffee pods. Maybe I lucked out and got an open box item but I’m very pleased. I’ve used it every day for over a month and have no complaints.

  64. Amazon Customer

Didn’t get original cup for steaming milk. The description said it would be all original pieces just different packaging. Other than that, all is good.

  65. airchanairchan

First Buyer BEWARE, the machine we received sold by amazon.com came w/EXPIRED pods. i don’t need to return the item, was just trying to get newer pods, probably easier for Jeffrey to offer me a $10 credit towards next order than making me return, place order again (probably same expired pods in that unit as well), and wait for a week. Rather than doing that sometimes it’s just as easier for a customer to just keep it…BUT…I am giving it a 4 star as it is a nice machine! well made! For the days when I want to go on “strike” as the morning barista for the wifey w/the Breville Oracle, this WORKS!

  66. Color doc

Many different functions I love This Machine. I use distilled water and so far have not had to clean it descale

  67. Amazon Customer

This was a very expensive machine I bought. And now in few months it is not working properly. The water drains inside the machine and I am not getting the coffee in the cup. The water is leaking inside the machine. I am not sure if Amazon or the company itself will help me. Either get it repaired or send me a new one. Not sure if I need to tweet to the company

  68. Kim

I was waiting this machine so long for discounts .finally I purchased Black Friday. I can have my own fresh coffee every morning and easy make and no need that much time to make it. Getting me very simple life and safe my time. Thank you.

  69. Mark C

Expensive, but pays for itself surprisingly quickly, as we ended up making a lot more cappuccinos and lattes (vs. buying them at Starbucks or settling for coffee), because this makes it so much easier to do so! MUCH easier to clean than a traditional espresso maker and the milk foams really well. Heats incredibly quickly too. Display also makes it pretty easy to use correctly, and even customize settings like milk temp and foaminess.

I bought the Breville creatista nespresso machine in silver as I love coffee but especially a good cappuccino! My parents are European (Italian and French), so I was introduced to good coffee at an early age, and I’m hard to please (Very picky) when it comes to coffee. This machine did not disappoint. At least, not for the past 4 years. I bought the Creatista in April 2020. I make at least 6 pods daily. The coffee is hot, with a crema that’s remarkable since this is a more automatic machine. You have options of level of fluid in cup, how hot you prefer, with preselect options as well. The milk frother is top notch. It even tells you when it’s time to descale or clean the frother tip to keep in top condition. It makes about the same level of noise as most pressurized coffee machines. I must confess I use only filtered water, so I needed to descale maybe 3 times yearly. Nespresso offers pods with many different levels of intensity, flavors, and varietal coffees from many countries which I greatly enjoyed. The pods are not cheap, costing somewhere between 70 cents and 1.25 each in a carton of 10. The reason I did not give this machine a 5 star rating is because my machine has begun leaking water when I brew a cup. Since it is a fairly costly machine, I had hoped for more longevity, especially since the price point is mid 600’s. It retails at both Amazon and Williams Sonoma for the same price with the latter having 2 more available colors than Amazon. I really loved this machine. I can’t say enough good things about it. However, as mentioned in several other reviews, it does develop a water seepage issue. I opted not to take the extended 4 year warranty, which is a good thing, as that warranty would have run out in April. My machine started to wet the counter top 3 weeks ago. I am greatly disappointed that it lacks the longevity that I expected from such a highly respected company.

  72. ICONMAKERICONMAKER

The media could not be loaded.

I ordered the typical espresso machine, and realized I did not want buyers remorse wishing it had all the bells and whistles – So maybe I went overboard buying this unit. I do not regret it! Great coffee, easy to use and a great looking appliance on the counter. While quite expensive, I don’t think I will be looking for another coffee maker for quite a while. I have actually turned a few people into espresso machine enthusiasts, while not this one. I have to share I even have photos of my coffeemaker on my phone and share it with others.

  73. DMDM

I m so excited with my creatista pluss.. I searched all stores on line including Nespreso store but Amazon has the best price.. Arrived so fast, the second day from purchase and early in the morning so I had time to unpack Seattle up made my first flat white and went to work so happy!! =) By the way I didn’t get an expired Pods like other customer claims. It came with a box of 14 differents coffees pods to try and on the back of the box shows the production date and expiration date. So I received my machine with trial pods on March 5, 2019 and it said best before August 3, 2019I’ll share a picture. 👍

  74. Jacob A

Easy to use, very fast to start, and looks amazing. No issues after more than a year and we use it a lot.

  75. Steve Jones

Tried 3 pod machines (cheaper $100 – 200) and returned them all, every one made bitter undrickable coffee. In desperation I spent the money on this machine. I’m keeping this one!If you need great coffee with the convenience of pods get this one

  76. Jack Smith

Easy to use. Intelligent design. Beautiful & sleek. Delicious flavors. So easy to use. Time saver indeed. This is a must buy. You will not be disappointed. Well worth the cost. Finally, an engineer who drinks fancy coffee and makes it themselves was involved in the design.

  77. sandra segarra

Good quality and easy to use.

This is the best coffee I have produced at home. In this price range I don’t believe you’ll find better ease of use for the quality of product. I have had better cappuccinos from professional high-end machines but a lot more work (and thousands of dollars) goes into that product. That being said I prefer the lattes and lungos from this machine to that of Starbucks and Pete’s. The better products to which I’m referring come from high-end establishments. With a bit of tweaking and experimentation, you can really refine the product coming out of this machine to exactly your taste and once you have adjusted the settings and figured out which capsules are your favorite it’s as simple as a one or two button push for a special result. My friends really like my coffee. One of them went out and bought this machine and is crazy about it.

  80. Cheshire Hen

I don’t like to write critical reviews, but I wouldn’t buy this machine again. My daughter bought this with some of her birthday money, loved it, and when she took it to college we bought one for our home. Both started leaking near the bottom left corner when about a year old (hers first, then ours). We’ve done troubleshooting on the phone, followed all recommended maintenance, and used Nespresso and L’or pods. When this happened to each machine, Nespresso paid for us to ship the machines for repair and they were returned very quickly each time, but they still leak. The problem is that it doesn’t happen every time for us, so when we’d call to troubleshoot if they don’t see it with the video chat they say it’s fine and to call back when it happens again. We had to call several times for the first repair to catch the leak in process. Who wants to deal with that when you’re making coffees for breakfast, trying to get to work? Very frustrating. I’m going to try a simpler machine and maybe I’ll have better luck. Such a shame to have spent so much money on this Breville Creatista Plus (twice, SMH).

  81. Jett

I enjoyed this machine but then did not enjoy having to first make the espresso and then froth the milk. I am trying to speed up my morning routine and using a regular semi automatic nespresso/ espresso maker and a separate electronic milk frother is much more time efficient. Also, the measurement of the espresso shot is not accurate. You can check online for more users who have soon realized this after taking a few moments to actually measure and read the manual which states the measurement. It’s off by a tad but and for someone who works woth italian coffee, this is a nono in our books. Sorry… it’s really too bad bc we wanted this machine for so long and really felt achieved once we made the purchase. Disappointing when compared to less expensive machines.. good luck! Overall love breville aesthetic just FYI!

  82. Jay Cunningham

I’ve been through maybe 10 machines and always went cheap, and paid for it in the end. This machine is incredible. Never thought I’d love the steamer as much as I do.

  83. Pamela H

Wowie! I purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. We had a baby Nespresso machine, yet he always wanted to go out for a ‘good’ coffee.I had read a rave review from a coffee aficionado and was a bit concerned my expectations would be too high.Nope! This machine somehow makes the exact same Nespresso coffee pod tastes amazing. It is very well made. It heats up in seconds, frothed milk like a dream. It is easy to use and clean. It collects a good number of pods before you need to dump them in the Nespresso recycling bag.If you want cafe level coffee using Nespresso this is your machine!

  84. Joni

This was well worth the money to me. Super easy to use. I love the Nespresso pods that go with this machine, just throw them in your recycle bin, makes cleanup, super easy. It makes the most wonderful lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, and iced coffee’s. I highly recommend this for coffee drinkers.

  85. Someguy619Someguy619

Bought this a few months ago and was really excited about the results. Unfortunately the one I received was defective, I was on the phone for over an hour troubleshooting the machine with customer service. I paid over $30 for return shipping and was only refunded $3.99. Decided to purchase again and this time I received a used one with items missing such as the instruction manual and sample pods. And this one didn’t work as well. Not sure what’s going on but this was a total waste of time and money.

I thought I’d wanted the big expensive coffee machine that ground fresh beans… took over 12 min in the morning to make a good cup of coffee. With the Nespresso a min? And I get the same great tasting coffee I got with the big take up space machine. I’m glad I changed back.

I bought one in 2018 and much to my fret, it went out on me a couple of days ago. It was acting a fool, not heating or just skipping steps, etc. BUT, it was four years old (or almost). It was time to get another one.Amazon saved the day because if I had to buy another directly on the Nespresso site, it takes too long to get. Plus, I was able to pay it in installments through here. The first time around, I didn’t need to do that. Purchased it yesterday. Got it today! Happy camper!

Love it.

I would have given it 5 stars but honestly NOT much stainless steel on maker. I was disappointed with that. I kind of figured when I saw the weight of it but I was hopeful. Too much plastic for the price and a bit noisy. But if don’t mind plastic and some noise it is perfect.

I love this espresso maker. Most Breville stuff is marked with a steep add on proce but here it is completely worth it. It’s been over six months since I bought this machine on Amazon and I have put it through its paces making at least two cappuccinos a day. Its a workhorse, reliable and easy to use to customize to your likings.I bought the creatista primarily for the steam wand capability that all the other nesspros lack. I set the heat to the highest it will go to and it’s very easy to use. My previous machine was an espresso point by lavazza and I had to do the steaming manually. This gives me smooth, rich foam full of micro bubbles without me doing a thing. I can make Asian style instant coffee with that rich foam anytime I want and it’s a simple affair to clean afterwards. No more splashes and spills. If there is anything I would like differently, I wish the minimum milk level for the steamer mug would be lower.Overall, this is a five star espresso maker.

I was introduced to the Breville-Nespresso USA BNE800BSSUSC Nespresso Creatista Plus Coffee Espresso Machine by my sister in New Zealand while on vacation. I fell in love with its design and function. It admittedly also looks super sitting on the counter LOL. Bar none, it makes the best single cup of coffee or espresso I’ve ever had. I was tired of making a whole pot of coffee or going to the coffee shop, so for me this is the ultimate solution. The milk frother/steamer works beautifully, I recommend using 1% milk as it froths well and is lower fat. Easy to clean and operate! Great instructions and LCD panel, just follow along. Great price here on Amazon, good luck to all.

If you want a *Great* Cup of Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Flat White – you can even make an Americano…this is the machine for you! I love that you can adjust the coffee volume, an auto frothing steampipe with eleven milk temperature settings and eight milk texture settings! It also has a small footprint, heats up in 3 seconds, shuts off automatically in 9 minutes and is of solid construction. My boyfriend bought me a Keurig 7 years ago and the pump finally gave out. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to look at coffee makers. I also looked at full selection of Keurigs to choose from…I was totally disappointed. They’ve turned into really chintzy, flimsy cheap bulky machines, so I decided to upgrade to the Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus which I purchased from Amazon. WOW! What a *Great* cup of coffee from a beautifully designed machine! One very important aspect that you must know, when using any coffee machine is to use a good glass coffee cup like the Nespresso View series. The Nespresso coffee cups certainly keep the coffee hot, whereas the typical coffee cup or mug can actually cool the coffee by conduction as it fills the cup or mug pulling the heat from the coffee and radiating through the sides of the cup or mug. Attempting to warm the cup or mug first, wouldn’t help much if it’s conducting a lot of the heat. I provided some images for your review to include the Nespresso View glass mug, espresso and cappuccino cups. Does it makes noise…of course it does…all espresso machines noise. Is it overly loud, absolutely not, so those things are not cons. Machine was worth every penny! Thank you Breville, Nespresso and Amazon!

I purchased this as an upgrade to a year-old Pixie that has worked flawlessly. I followed the instructions and pulled a shot of espresso as my first drink. The machine dispensed a little too much water and the coffee tasted poor, with much less flavor and crema than my Pixie. Chalking it up to the machine needing to break-in, I pulled a Lungo and then several more single espressos. Same poor taste and a lack of crema compared to my Pixie. So I used science to discover the problem: I measured the lungo and single espresso output between the Creatista and my Pixie across a sample size of several pulls per type per water level setting. The results? The Creatista consistently dispensed too much water. For an average factory-set Lungo (110ml,) it dispensed 150ml. Only at the lowest setting would I get in the ballpark. Same over-watered results for espresso. If the machine was $50 I might accept this quirk, but not with a $500+ machine.I’m a loyal Nespresso guy, ordering $60+ worth of sleeves monthly. And I’m still loyal and will continue to use my Pixie, but this machine is going back. It’s clearly a programming issue at the factory that ruined the experience. Unfortunately the Creatista has set water level presets so I can’t modify it as easily as my Pixie. Hopefully Nespresso can address this as the Creatista is a beautiful machine.

I have a home based business and have served my clients Peet’s coffee, for many years- I spoil them so I wanted to also servethem Espressos, cappuccinos and the like and I get all of that with my new machine! I must tell you though, I had to learn the ends and outs of making these wonderful coffees- Peet’s are perfect! It’s compact, water reservoir is in the back of the machine and out of sight and out of the way. Steaming soy milk I find I get a very thick foam long lasting. I can’t say enough about it, I just hope it last me a good long time, I use it 5 of 7 days a week.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! LOVE this little machine! We upgraded from the Breville k-cup style machine. After a recent trip to Italy, we decided we wanted a machine that could make espresso and cappuccinos, without breaking the bank. Looked at lots of different machines, but decided on Breville Creatista Plus due to our luck with their other products. October is national coffee month, so most machines are roughly 30% off right now. Thought about waiting until Black Friday to see if a better deal, but guessing this sale is roughly what we’d find around then without the hassle that comes with Black Friday. Took the machine out of the box, super easy setup. First cup of cappuccino had me thinking we were back in Italy (one can dream, right?!). Well worth the price, have a feeling our k-cup machine is going go start collecting dust.

A very pretty coffeemaker that produced 138° and 145° espresso and lungo shots instead of 160° shots that my Nespresso Inissia makes. I was a bit skeptical when Amazon lowered the price of this $599 retail machine to $389. It arrived in a beat up box. Probably a return. Instead of repairing a machine with a defective thermostat, why not return it to the factory for a repair instead of reselling and disappointing your customers? There is no manual brewing temperature control on the machine, a big oversight in my opinion. I returned it and bought a Bodum Bistro frother from a local discount store to use with my Nespresso Inissia, which makes perfect espressos and lungos.Update: I returned the original defective one and bought second one that has worked flawlessly for 2 years. My main complaint is the same one I had with Keurig, too much garbage. While Nespresso provides a “free” recycling bag with each purchase if you request one, you have to buy coffee pods from their website, and they ration the bags as though they are made of precious minerals. I don’t like the coffee that Nespresso sells on their website, I prefer Starbucks coffee. This means I still have to place $35 minimum Nespresso orders to keep a supply of recycling bags. Amazon or Starbucks needs to provide recycling bags to customer if they are going to sell Nespresso pods.

Love the froth wand. Easier to clean than the canister with the spring whip in the bottom, like on my previous model. I still like nepresso the best of the capsule type coffees. Tastes very similar to actual European pressure brewed. The Breville seems to be a good brand although I did get a couple of dud electric kettles from them which was hugely disappointing. Apparently the switch is faulty on those (see neg reviews on the Breville kettles) each one of the kettles only lasted 2-3 years before failing. Other Breville items I have bought have been trouble free except electric kettles…shame on you Breville. Hoping the espresso machine is problem free…. So far so good it’s been 6-8 months
