    I was skeptical at first since what makes espresso so good at cafe’s is often the quality of the ‘engine’ and the pressure they are able to create during brewing. But this little machine punchs way above it’s weight class. I am something of an espresso snob and I can’t taste a difference between this machine’s espresso and a nice cafe.There is a bit of a learning curve: Depending on the coffee brand you are using you are going to have to adjust the coarseness of the grind and you are also going to have to determine the proper amount of coffee per shot. (For me it’s usually 4-5 for grind and between 25-30 portion for the double shot cup). But once you firgure out the proper ratio’s it will hit the “optimal zone” in the pressure gage every time.Perhaps the best part of this all-in-one setup is the steamer. I have worked in restaurants with nice steamers but I think this one may be the best I’ve ever worked with, believe it or not. There will also be a learning curve as you learn to steam coffee and how much milk froth/foam vs. steamed milk you want, but that can be learnt in a youtube video or two.Thank you for reading. I think this is a great little espresso machine and if you are someone like me who cannot stand drip coffee and needs espresso and milk espresso drinks, this will be your new favorite appliance. You will save time and a bunch of money by bringing the cafe to your living room!

    Descaled and did all the troubleshooting before use, machine couldnt even make one cup of coffee. When we would choose the double shot, machine pressure would stall and not produce any drip. Had high hopes for this machine we are very disappointed .

    My wife and I have been an avid cappuccino drinkers for as long as I can remember. Searching for a coffee house that could make a decent cup was always hit and miss, and when I travel it can sometimes be arduous, so enjoying a good cappuccino was always a treat if we could find a good one. while visiting my sister earlier this summer I started drinking cappuccinos at her house and found that with very little tweaking could make a decent one, and immediately got hooked. After an extensive search I decided on the De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Espresso Machine. It was a bit of a financial commitment, and without trying it out first was hesitant. But my skepticism was soon replaced with utter astonishment and joy with how great the drinks were. This machine makes exceptional drinks straight out of the box. It is fun to see how excited my wife gets when I make her cappuccinos. Trust me, she is not easily impressed.We have had this machine now for less than a month and I have made on average 4-6 cups a day between the two of us. It is paying for it’s self quickly, and will be a main stay in our home for years to come. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

    Just received my De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Espresso Machine this last Tuesday. Can’t stop making excellent espresso coffee since. You do need to play with dosage and grinder preferences to dial to your preference, but other than that delicious.

    Not happy with this machine at all! On/OFF switch doesn’t work unless you press it multiple times. The portafilter wouldn’t go in one morning when both of us tried over and over. Had to make Pod coffee just to have coffee. I had to descale the machine after 2 1/2 weeks. Then this morning the Americano setting only gave me water and no coffee. So I had to switch to expresso to brew the coffee. Then of course when trying it several hours later, it worked OK. Disgusted with this pot. Even though it went ON after 2x on a video call, it doesn’t change the fact that it took 6 X this morning.

    It looks beautiful, came packaged beautifully and secured. My only issue is that the water doesn’t soak through the espresso. I tried to not to pack it too much or pack it too tight or too loose but nothing works and the water still left sitting on top of espresso. Support wasn’t much help bc she couldn’t tell me if there’s something I could do different. She didn’t offer up any suggestions. That’s way too much money to not get a decent taste of espresso. It taste dark & bitter. It came out good the very first time, now water doesn’t even soak through the coffee. When I empty the part that holds the coffee, it’s still soaked with water on top. I’m hoping I can find the issue, or this is an expensive paperweight.

    I bought this and it worked fabulous at first. I descaled and cleaned as it stated. About a month ago it started acting up. I contacted the manufacturer and after a bit (which is understandable) they asked for a video of the machine acting up. Working full time you don’t always have a camera ready when you getting up at 5am.(alternate coffee system) A couple weeks later I remembered I needed to do that so I recorded the issue. Sent in the video answering the questions and I get a response to descale it and rinse it 3-4 times. Problem was I tried that before I sent in the original email. I replied back to that fact, and then the response was to contact them and FaceTime/Videochat to problem shoot – which is fine but maybe we should have done that first before taking a video etc. lemons happen- issues happen- that’s electronics and life. Just would have liked a better resolution – if you wanted a video and it showed YOU an issue maybe that should have been in your reply instead of a generic response. Overall the machine was great as I said. Issues occurred I am saddened that I will have to move on as I don’t have the time to do all of that.

    I just got my coffee machine, tried everything in the book, and still expresso is cold, not hot. Can someone tell me why???I also need to make clear that I returned the machine on July the 10th, today is July 25th and I have not gotten my refund. This is outrageous!!!

    Unlike more manual machines, frothing milk is a dream. When you turn off the steam, it depressurizes itself. You don’t need to run the steam out in a mug of cold water until the pressure drops. Also, no steam comes off the machine, so you can actually operate it under a cabinet without having to move it forward on your counter. My only complaint is the piece of plastic inside the portafilter. Completely unnecessary. I don’t believe plastic should ever come into contact with something hot that you’re going to consume. I will be calling the manufacturer about this.

    I bought this very expensive coffee machine hoping to have good quality coffee. I’m Italian, I love the taste of a good coffee in the morning.I spent over $600 for this awful machine which makes the worst coffee I ever tried in my life. It gave me heartburn and despite trying different settings to achieve the perfect espresso by following the instructions, It got worse.I contacted Amazon to get a refund since I no longer have the original package – I can only hope at some point to get my $600 back!!!Do not buy this machine. It’s literally awful.Quick update. My experience with Amazon has been just awful. I haven’t got a refund and every time I contact their customer service I get different reasons why I didn’t receive my money back.Will never buy anything expensive from Amazon ever again. I lost $600.

    Water storage is a bit small, however it is enough for 4 americanos and you wouldn’t want days old water anyway. Education is key, learn how set and brew YOUR kind of coffee, find time to understand and adjust how the machine will affect the taste and you will not regret. If you want coffee with little effort? Stick to instant coffee or long lines at Starbucks/Dutchbros

    This is an amazing addition to our coffee bar!! Easy to use, clean and makes fast easy drinks! Highly recommend to anyone looking to bring the cafe feel into their home!! We have found Oatmilk and Oatmilk flavored creamer to be the most true to taste as a regular coffee shop! Enjoy!

    While on a trip to Italy, I fell in love with espresso drinks. When I got home, I had to have my own machine so I could continue enjoying these coffee drinks without paying $6 – 8 for each one. (In Italy, they were usually only 1 or 2 Euros!)When it arrived, it was easy to set up with clear instructions in the included booklet. Getting a good cup of espresso takes a little experimentation, along with good quality coffee beans and filtered water. Clean up is easy enough – and it is very important to keep up with this!There are espresso machines that are less costly, but after reading many reviews on Amazon and other sites, this De’Longhi La Specialista is worth every penny.

    Purchased in November 2023, worked pretty good for a month or so and then started having issues where it just wouldn’t pull a shot. It wasn’t too common so just sucked it up and figured it was random user error. Come May 2024, it was having issues almost every day and I contacted amazon who told me to contact Delonghi.It was sent in for a “repair” where they found nothing wrong and sent the machine back. Still having the same issues and now Amazon is refusing to help at all. So now Im out $600 for a broken machine and no coffee.DO NOT BUY

    Poor quality materials from their products.Item arrived broken from manufacturer and wound not offer the availability to exchange product other than return it. Loots of plastic materials not built to last. I purchased this expreso machine on prime day and Amazon did not offer any other assistance with seller other than providing a refund if item is more expensive than on prime day.

    Up until the machine stopped working it was really great…I was able to make 3 great cups of coffee, then it simply wouldn’t turn on. It’s the side power button, and apparently this is a common problem. I returned it today as defective, and will be getting a different machine! It is unfortunate because truly, I really loved the ease of use and quality of the coffee. If you do get this machine, and the power button engages, never turn it off!

    I adore this machine. I love lattes and husband loves espresso. I couldn’t love it more. I had a drop coffeemaker for 25 years but decided to splurge on this and boy am I glad I did. Works exactly as it should – I have had for a few months and I haven’t had any issues. I will say it’s a bit of a pain to keep clean – I have to rise out the drip tray after using it – but I love it so much I’m willing to overlook it. Love the built-in grinder. I’ve had so much fun leaning to make lattes (lots of videos on tiktok and YouTube). It isn’t inexpensive but anytime I think about heading to Starbucks I think – why? This makes great lattes that don’t cost $7 each.

    I personally enjoy having that manual experience of making a cappuccino or latte for my wife or guests. I really enjoy it’s size that fits right enough in the townhouse kitchen. I wonder if the pressure of the steam wand varies or not since sometimes it feels like it’s not a strong as the first few times it’s been used. I would recommend this item and hopefully it lasts many years.
